I am however using a stronger shampoo (no-poo) after using this two times in a row to remove some product weight and it seems to be doing the job. Make sure to detangle completely during either the shampoo step or the conditioning step, while the hair is soaking wet and saturated with the product you are using.

CoWashing (Conditioner Wash) is the best way to cleanse your curly hair on a regular basis without disturbing the natural biological balance. My hair was oily for a couple weeks when I first started co washing and now it is starting to balance out and not oily at all, instead my hair is soft, shiny and curly.
