My magical working name is Macha – a Celtic earth Goddess who makes up one of the three aspects of the Morrigan. The rusty-gold colour is so warm and a nice contrast to the snowy landscape, and that tree… haunting! It is one of my favourite Tarot cards anyway, so I am very pleased to see such a beautiful rendition of it here.I hope that the guidebook will give me insight into how the deck was created, what inspired the creator, and a little more about the art style. It also holds the energy of the creator the artwork and my desire to offer not only a beautiful collection of cards but also a tool that will serve you for years to come. I know I felt compelled to look up information about Monarch Butterflies when I saw it pictured so prominently. Keep in mind that anyone can view public collections - they may also appear in recommendations and other places. Like many of you here I am an animal lover and I am fascinated by the way they live and thrive or survive around us.

In addition to reviewing the Crow Tarot, I thought I’d take this opportunity to also show you what I do when I first get a brand new deck and how I begin to bond with it.And Tarot is a wonderful way to keep connecting with mother nature and all the wonderful creatures that surround it. I got a little unexpected money a couple of weeks ago from a phone survey I participated in, and decided to use it to get (surprise, surprise) a new tarot deck!

It’s funny, I don’t normally shuffle cards and wait for one to fly out as my selection method but it seems to happen a lot with this deck even though I don’t find it difficult to shuffle. The Crow Tarot cards are (as expected) on thinner side, but are slightly stiffer than Thoth or Morgan Greer decks I have from US Games, and I like the feel of them overall – they’re sturdy and comfortable in my hands.
