About this deal

Samsung has moved its branding towards the side to firm up the set’s minimalist tastes, while the bezel that frames the screen gives full prominence to the images the TV (spoiler alert) rather wonderfully creates. Surround yourself with synchronized sound from your TV and soundbar, orchestrated in complete harmony with Q-Symphony.

The integration of the speakers is seamless, hidden behind a pattern of tiny holes in the outer edge of the TV cabinet. The sound quality is also impressive, with an open soundstage and plenty of power in theamplification. However, all the testing was conducted while stand mounted, raising the question of how wall mounting would effect the woofers built intothe rear of the TV? When we say ‘advanced local dimming zone solution’, we mean it. Remarkably, the QE50QN90A can simultaneously deliver different levels of light from no less than 448 separate LED zones. To give this more context, Sony’s 50-inch XBR-50X90J LCD TV uses just 24 local dimming zones. Dynamic is the more lurid option, with its blue tint but bolder and more vivid colours, while Natural exacerbates greens and whites, and Standard is the most balanced out of the three. Standard isn’t as punchy as Natural, which I feel is more suited to sports – but I prefer a more balanced and natural-looking image.

Regardless, the QN94A has the same depth as the QN95A model that comes with the external One Connect box. In the past, the One Connect box indicated the TV was slimmer than its similarly attired cousins. While that’s not the case here, the One Connect box does bring meaningful differences that I’ll get to later on.

Percentage luminance drop at 20 degree vertical angle from the centre of the screen with 100% white output The QN94A is exclusive to the UK market, with Samsung offering three variants with similar specs (QN95A and QN90A). The answer to this question is very much a decision arrived at after deliberation between your available space, budget and requirements. However, it tends to be sensible to have the smaller TVs in smaller rooms, and larger ones in the biggest rooms. With state-of-the-art Quantum Matrix Technology, Samsung’s Quantum Mini LED delivers super-fine detail, epic contrast and a brilliantly intense picture. Samsung’s cutting-edge Neo Quantum Processor 4K powers a supreme 4K image, and advanced AI sound. 4K UHD resolution with Quantum HDRMake everything you watch truly spectacular. Samsung QLED TVs are certified to provide 100% colour volume*. Quantum Dot display technology, unlike others, is able to transform light into breath-taking colour that will look incredible for years to come. Guaranteed on your screen for an entire decade**. With over a billion cinematic colours, everything you watch is brought to life like never before.

However, overall this is a superb new model, and successfully laid down the Mini LED gauntlet for the 2022 flagship, the Samsung QN95B. Read on for our full Samsung QN95A review. Samsung QN95A: availability and price Joining the 50QN90A’s terrific contrast is some exceptionally high brightness for a small screen when showing full-screen bright HDR images. Only Sony is capable of getting even brighter than the 50QN90A in the mid-range/small screen market when it comes to the most intense HDR content – but those Sony sets don’t have Mini LED lighting on hand to keep dark scenes free of blooming. The Q600A delivers truly immersive surround sound with the courtesy of market leading technology through multiple custom designed built-in speakers. This alongside a bass boosting subwoofer included in the box means you’re encapsulated with pure and precise directional sound. The new consumer MicroLED TV will be available in four sizes: 76 inches, 88 inches, 99 inches and a huge 110 inches. Each model comes pre-assembled as a complete flatscreen TV, unlike commercial MicroLEDs, which come as smaller modules that can be assembled in various configurations. In terms of price, a 50-inch TV is often considered a mid-range option. It provides a good balance between screen size and affordability, making it an attractive choice for many consumers who want a decent-sized display without breaking the bank.Multi-tasking has never been so easy. With Multi View, you can play your mobile content alongside the TV program, all at once, on the same screen. Simply cast your phone to your TV with screen mirroring, split the screen, and never miss another moment*. Handy if you want to keep an eye on the football score whilst watching a movie. From gloomy shadows to sun-scorched scenes – see the spectacular detail in every shot, exactly as you’re meant to. Thanks to leading HDR brightness, you'll see it in all true-to-life quality with rich colour and remarkable contrast. Plus, with HDR10+ every frame is optimised to perfection, so that every movie you watch looks just as the director intended.

Color Space Settings: Refine the spectrum of colors on your screen. Under custom settings, you can define the color range displayed on your screen, and adjust the saturation level of red, green, and blue.

QLED panels are a Samsung property that replaces Liquid Crystals (found in LCD) with Quantum dots. Samsung believes these produce much more vibrant and bright colours and sharper images. Thankfully, some of the best QLED TVs are now quite affordable compared to even a year ago. Freeview Play This is achieved byanalysing the audio signal, and using the available speakers combined with sophisticated processingto create sounds that are more aligned with the location of specific images on the screen. This certainly works, helping to create a more engaging experience that has improved directionality and immersion.
